The Super Outbreak of 1974 is the worst outbreak of tornadoes ever recorded in history. It affected 13 US states and the Canadian providence of Ontario. It was the second-largest outbreak within a day's worth of time. Before the Super Outbreak, no one had ever seen so many destructive and highly rated tornadoes in a weather event.
